William Early was in Christian Co. as early as 1806 tax list with 1m over 21 & 1 horse.
I guessed he was the man who had mar. Elizabeth Baker in Bertie Co. & that Mathias Early of Christian & Caldwell Cos. was his brother.
There was a William in Hicknan Co. in 1822 & 1823 tax list & Calloway Co. 1823 to 1827. In 1828 tax list he had 68a on Tenn. Riv.
1830 census Calloway Co. In May 1832 Wm. Earley of Calloway Co. sold John McKinney 68a on Tenn. Riv. Priscilla his wife relinquished her dower.
I was never able to figure out Wm. & Mathias' father.
My name is Wilson Early,GGG Grandson of William Early and Pracilla Stinson that you speak of. Do you have any other info on them? He must have died by 1840. Pricilla is back in Whitley Co., Ky, living on Lynn Camp Creek. She inherited land from her Father Robert Stenson. She also was in the Whitley Co Census of 1840, head of household.
